Southborough’s Vicon celebrates 20 years in business

At a time when the housing market is suffering, Vicon Design & Remodeling is celebrating. Not only is business thriving, the Southborough company observes its 20th anniversary this year.

Vicon’s owner and founder, Vinnie Sarnosky, attributes the firm’s longevity to a couple factors.

“First and foremost is to remember who the boss is and that’s the client,” he says. “I make sure they are the center of all we do. I’m also a craftsman and physically work on the job as well as manage the job. The customers love that and it doesn’t hurt to be genuinely enthusiastic about their project no matter how large or small. People want to know you care. That’s how we’ve stayed in this business so long.”

Flexibility and adaptability are also musts, Sarnosky adds.
